The photographic journey started in 2001 as a staff photographer for NCAA division 1 schools such as The Citadel, Duke (football) and UNC-CH. Chris has been a wedding photographer since 2003.
Chris is a member of the Professional Photographers of America.
Between July 1st, 2009 and June 30th, 2010, Chris accomplished a Strobist 365 project. The premise of this project was to create a photo a day for an entire year using studio lighting, both in the studio and on-location.
Since accomplishing this project, Chris has become widely regarded as an expert in studio lighting.
In December 2013, Chris moved his studio to Raleigh, NC. The new location is just a stone’s throw away from the NC Fairgrounds, JC Raulston Arboretum and right near the campus of NC State.
